Arnaud Lajeunie is a photographer based in Paris. Lajeunie first came to photography after completing a masters in political science at Sciences Po Paris. Soon after, his images of landscapes and site-responsive installations earned him a spot as a finalist at the Hyères 29th Festival of Photography in 2014. At the same time, Lajeunie was developing a fashion and portraiture practice which explores unrestrained human behaviours within recognisable and well-conceived frames. There is a tension in his photographs, walking the line between carefully executed craft and pure spontaneity. It’s this elusive taste of something almost surreal that makes Lajeunie’s work so unique. His clients, including Chanel, Loewe, Hermès, Versace, Knwls, Dior and Y/Project, agree. Lajeunie is a regular contributor to publications including VOGUE, POP, Arena Homme +, D La Reppublica, and The New York Times.
