Andrea Artemisio

Andrea Artemisio is an Italian photographer. Born just outside of Milan and now based between London and Milan, Artemisio’s work is characterised by a melding of minimalism and the hyperreal. By often photographing his subjects in empty environments, he creates a new kind of context where the focus is on gestures, clothing and accessories, and mood. There’s a playfulness to his photography, which accentuates the stark and often lonesome forms of minimalism he embraces in his work.

Artemisio’s considered and stark approach to photography has seen his work spotlighted in publications such as Mastermind, Arena Homme + and Vogue Italia. His clients include Balenciaga, Pop Magazine, Jil Sander and Ports 1961.
