Katie Burnett

Katie Burnett is a stylist and creative consultant based in New York. She studied studio art in the United States and subsequently at the Istituto Marangoni in London where she then began her career. She takes a creative and playful approach to her work, inspired by the nostalgia of vintage photography from the 1940s to 1960s as well as by the possibilities of movement and art. Burnett often collaborates closely with the photographers and casting directors she works with to create fashion imagery that is potent and authentic.

In recent years Burnett has also expanded into photography. Her distinct eye for photography mixed with love of art , movement and design allow her to create a unique point of view. In 2021 Art Paper Editions published Cabin Fever, a book of Burnett’s photography made while living in Brooklyn during lockdown. She will publish a second title with Dashwood in 2022. Burnett is the fashion director at Centrefold Magazine and is also a regular contributor to M Le magazine du Monde, Double, Luncheon, American Vogue, Re-Edition and Holiday. Her commercial clients include Isabel Marant, COS, Calvin Klein and Sephora.
